Max and Tara were introduced to each other in 2007 by bridesmaid Crystal Johnsen. Before moving in with Tara, Crystal and Max were room mates. She noticed their similar sense of humor and set them up. They went on their first date to the New York City aquarium and Nathan's hot dog in Coney Island and the rest is history.
